Hi friends,
Earlier this week, we briefly mentioned our Kickstarter’s add-on items in our update email, but honestly – it hardly did them justice. Here is a more detailed view of the wonderful custom items our partners have created specifically for BLACKBIRDS RPG’s Kickstarter. (Have we mentioned they make great gifts, too?)
Add-On Items - A Selection:
If any of these beauties have piqued your interest, you can add them to your pledge in 4 easy steps:
Step 1:
In your Kickstarter account, select the BLACKBIRDS RPG campaign page, then the “Manage your pledge” button in the upper right corner.
Step 2:
On the screen displaying your current pledge, select the “Change your pledge” option at the bottom.
Step 3:
Select the “Pledge [Amount]” button (this confirms you wish to keep your current pledge level).
Step 4:
Add your desired items from the “Add-ons” menu. Select “Continue” to proceed to your updated check-out.

International Backers
We have heard you, and after some hard work, we are excited to announce that we have come up with a lower-cost solution for international shipping! We’re hoping this will help our international backers partake in all the BLACKBIRDS Kickstarter has to offer.
The backstory is that our team decided early on to produce our Talent & Technique Tarot-Sized Cards after the Servant of the Gods special edition books in order to provide optimal editorial quality. The downside to this, unfortunately, is a delay of 6-8 weeks in receiving the cards; hence, we originally planned for fulfillment in split shipments, with the cards arriving after the other items. However, we agree that this makes international shipping costs problematic, to say the least.
Our solution, then, is simply to fulfill all international pledges containing Talent & Technique cards in just one single shipment instead of two. This means shipments will arrive after all items are completed, i.e. a few weeks later than originally planned, but we hope the reduced shipping costs more than make up for it:

We’re excited to announce that the 2 Fortune/Misfortune tokens are now UNLOCKED! And the best part is that they are completely FREE.
Made by Campaign Coins, these two tokens are made from die-cast metal with hand-polished edges. Sized like American poker chips, they are used by both players and the Fateweaver to track how they use Fortune (and Misfortune) to their advantage. With designs by Rob Sather, these beautifully detailed items are great companions to have during players’ quest through Erebos. Stretch Goal Unlocked! Map of Erebos

A mere 24 hours from our launch, BLACKBIRDS RPG has surpassed $79K in pledges! We are beyond humbled by your support and excited for what lies ahead.
With our first stretch goal unlocked, a FREE MAP OF EREBOS will now be included in all standard and Servant of the Gods edition books. This foldable 22 x 17-inch map features an intricately detailed illustration of the land of Erebos created by Francesca Baerald. We are thrilled knowing players will use it on their next harrowing adventure.
Keep an eye out for more unlockable items as more and more of you join us! The next stretch goal is already approaching – once pledges reach $100K, any backers who have pledged at the Player’s Pack level or above will receive two custom BLACKBIRDS RPG Tokens by Campaign Coins in addition to their Campaign Coins Amulet:
These Fortune and Misfortune tokens are made from a tarnished silver metal, die-cast and struck like a minted coin. Sized like American poker chips, they can be stacked and used by both BLACKBIRDS players and the Fateweaver to track how they use Fate to their advantage. Both tokens were designed in coordination with Rob Sather and Campaign Coins.
